Facebook ad ideas for a bakery

Start with 1 thing your bakery can deliver, 1 real photo and 1 clear next step. These 3 examples help you turn a good product into an ad that nearby customers can understand.

Illustrative drafts, not live ads. These examples use placeholders, not real shops or customer results. Replace the brackets and check every claim before publishing. Ultra Box’s interactive ad writer and coaching are not available yet; this guide is free to use without signing up.

Choose the next step

Decide whether you want someone to visit, look at a menu or place an order. Do not ask them to do all 3. A morning pastry ad needs your location and opening time. A preorder ad needs a working order link. A weekend ad needs a specific reason to come in. Choose the example that matches what your shop can actually offer.

01

Make the morning stop easy

For a bakery that wants nearby people to visit before work.

Sample ad text

A pastry stop on your way to work. Find [pastry name] at [bakery name], [street or landmark]. Open from [time] on [days]. Stop in and choose your morning treat.

What to photograph

Use a clear photo of the pastry you actually sell, on your counter. A real product photo is more useful than an unrelated stock picture.

Before you publish

Replace every bracket. Only mention morning opening times and products that are genuinely available. Add a price only after checking it.

02

Give preorders a deadline

For a bakery that already accepts advance orders for pickup.

Sample ad text

Planning a [occasion] get-together? Order [box contents] from [bakery name] by [deadline] for pickup on [date and time]. See the options and order here: [ordering link].

What to photograph

Photograph the complete box customers will receive. If the photo shows extra items, say clearly which items are included.

Before you publish

Use a working ordering page with the same contents, price, deadline and pickup window. Explain payment and cancellation terms there. Do not advertise preorders before you can accept them.

03

Give the weekend a reason

For a bakery with a real weekend product or opening occasion.

Sample ad text

Your weekend treat, sorted. [Product name] is available at [bakery name] this [day and date]. Find us at [address], open [hours]. Take a look at this week’s selection: [menu link].

What to photograph

Show the product in ordinary serving conditions. Keep decorations and portions close to what a customer will see in the shop.

Before you publish

Name the actual date. Do not invent a discount, sellout story or limited-stock claim. If the product is available every day, say that instead.

Check the whole journey

Open the destination on your phone. Can someone find the address, opening hours and next step without searching? Check that the page and ad agree. Avoid claims about allergies, health benefits or special diets unless you can support them. Do not use invented reviews or promise that an ad will bring a certain number of customers.

Meta reviews ad text, images, audiences and destinations under its Advertising Standards. Approval is not guaranteed, and local advertising rules still apply. For US shops, the FTC’s small-business guide explains why claims need evidence before an ad runs.

Learn from the result

Decide what you can afford to spend before publishing. You pay Meta directly for ads; Ultra Box does not provide ad credit. Write down the dates, money spent and people who clicked. Clicks are not the same as visits or orders. If your aim is orders, also check your ordering records rather than declaring success from clicks alone. Change 1 thing at a time so you have a better chance of learning what helped.
